The company is engaged in producing fiber optic and copper product solutions for customer telecommunications networks. It was incorporated in July of 1989 as a subsidiary of Corning Incorporated. Its registered head office is located in Pozuelo de Alarcon, Spain. The company’s solutions include: cables, connectors, and related hardware. It offers optical fiber cables for aerial, duct, buried, road, rail, power, sewer, and submarine applications; private networks solutions; and cable hardware and equipment, including network interface devices, test equipment, splice equipment, cable assemblies, and fiber-optic connectors. It also provides single-fiber port cleaners for removing common contaminates, such as skin oil, fine dust particulates, and liquid residues from connector end-faces loaded in adapters and cable assemblies; and OV-mini optical time domain reflectometer, a handheld and lightweight solution for testing and troubleshooting fiber optic networks. In addition, the company offers network services, such as network design, project management, installation and maintenance, equipment rental, and training programs.
